IOSH Singapore Branch is delighted to invite you to join us for an IOSH Networking Night at Marina Mandarin Singapore on 09 Mar 2018, Friday. We are pleased to have Mr James Foo to share the Introduction to Protective Security. The presentation introduces the ISSS Protective Security Framework, which aims to provide practitioners with guidance on planning, operations and review of security measures, leading to enhanced effectiveness and reduced wastage of resources. It also examines Principles of Protective Security and highlights important considerations in security measures.

Bio of James Foo

James is the Assistant Director for Research and Knowledge Management at the Institute of Safety and Security Studies (ISSS) from the Ministry of Home Affairs. He is involved in enhancing capabilities for Home Team Departments in areas of protective security though conducting specialized training and advisory works. James received his BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering from University of Leeds in 1996 and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Wales in 2005. James is also a certified trainer under the national Workforce Skill Qualification (WSQ) framework.
